Our driver will pick you up at your place in Gambassi Terme and will take you to destination Pisa. There Piazza dei Miracoli will be the first must-see site with the most famous Leaning Tower but also the enchanting cathedral and baptistery – we highly recommend visiting both of them – and last but not least the cemetery.
The tour continues towards the mouth of the Arno river, for a visit to the Basilica of San Pietro in Grado. During the Romans’ time, San Pietro a Grado was a port of call, where ships arrived from the Mediterranean Sea; “Gradus” in Latin means “port of call”. The Basilica has a singular shape and structure and you will be able to enjoy its well-preserved ancient frescoes.
